Are there any player events that take place? like huge hunting events or stuff like that?

You mean like player run events? Or GM run events?

2 things to remember about this game...

1) Down the line, up to 8 people get their own instance in this game. This means that anything outside of non-conflict allowed towns would be restricted to 8 people anyway.

2) Because of reason number 1 above, and the fact that the missions follow a story, as does the entire setup of where you are at any given time... I do not think this is something of a nessesity at all.
